While those things on their own aren’t a be-all, end-all, using all three together helps you understand completely where the other person is coming from.
Meeting face to face also helps build relationships. While there is validity in meeting and knowing someone virtually, 85% of people believe that face to face meetings help build stronger relationships. Meeting in person also helps eliminate distractions, making the meeting more productive and focused! It’s easy to get sidetracked by new emails, IM’s and other work when you’re meeting virtually.
