With Bubble and Covid procedures in place, many destinations, markets, and sites may be operating at a lower capacity than in pre-Covid-times. Some places may also be operating on a ticket or appointment system instead of first-come-first-served, so be sure to check with their website or give a call before you venture out. Most destinations will likely have their own Covid related rules and regulations in place, so be prepared to physically distance yourself from others, and wear your mask!
Keep your plans a bit more flexible than you might normally for a trip! Plus, activities centered around nature and self-directed fun are a lot less likely to be impacted by changes in guidelines and regulations – they are also an amazing way for you and your family to feel connected with our home provinces and share new experiences.
When traveling this summer, consider supporting local as often as possible. Whether it’s staying at locally owned hotels like each Coastal Inns location, visiting local restaurants, or buying souvenirs from locally-owned shops, small businesses are the backbone of our communities! Remember too that the folks working at hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions are all under the stress of the regulations as well. Be patient, be kind, and tip well when you can.
