After 38 years of hotel operations, and 30 of those years as a member of the Coastal Inns family, Coastal Inn Dartmouth will cease hotel operations, effective Thursday, August 1, 2024.
We want to thank all of our regular (and occasional) guests for their loyal patronage over the years. Your support has been sincerely welcomed and appreciated. We are sure that many among you are wondering what is in store for the property. It is our understanding that the land and building is to be repurposed for residential tenancy.
Of course, this is not the end of the story for Coastal Inns in the greater Halifax region. Since 2014, Coastal Inn Halifax, 98 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax (Bayers Lake) has been the “new” Coastal Inn in the HRM.
