When you travel regularly across Atlantic Canada, a good hotel stay comes down to consistency. Knowing you will walk through the door to a clean room and a familiar, friendly face makes all the difference after a long day on the road. At Coastal Inns, our signature Authentic Maritime Hospitality is made possible by the dedicated people who take care of our guests every single day.

Behind every smooth check-in, quiet overnight stay, and hot cup of morning coffee is a team of people who take pride in what they do. This month, we want to recognize a few team members at our Moncton/Dieppe and Sackville locations who have been part of the Coastal Inns family for decades.

Moncton / Dieppe

If you have stayed at our Dieppe location over the years, chances are high that you have crossed paths with Randy Lutes. Having joined the team back in 1997, Randy has been welcoming travelers for nearly 30 years.

He is a fixture of the property, and our management team regularly receives feedback from guests highlighting his customer service skills and helpful attitude. Having team members like Randy means returning commercial travelers, families, and road trippers always have a trusted, familiar guide waiting at the front desk.

Gisele Cormier is another longstanding colleague we’d like to acknowledge. With over 30 years of service to our organization over the years, we are pleased to recognize her longstanding commitment and the important role she has played as part of our team.

Sackville

Down the highway at Coastal Inns Sackville, long-term dedication is a big part of the hotel culture. Three key team members have collectively given over six decades of service to keeping operations running smoothly for our guests:

  • Lisa Estabrooks (25 Years of Service): Joining the team in 2001, Lisa is known around the property as someone who handles a little bit of everything. From assisting guests at check-in to keeping day-to-day details organized behind the scenes, her versatility and deep knowledge of the hotel keep things running effortlessly.
  • Brian Doucet (27 Years of Service): Brian joined the team in 1999 and serves as a Night Auditor. Working the overnight shift requires a calm, steady hand and complete reliability, ensuring late arrivals are checked in smoothly and morning operations are ready before sunrise.
  • Roland Gorman (14 Years of Service): Reaching 14 years with the company, Roland also serves as a Night Auditor in Sackville. His steady presence ensures the hotel remains quiet, secure, and well-managed through the night.

Halifax

Our general manager at the Halifax Bayers Lake Coastal Inn has been at the property for 26 years, and with the Coastal brand for 12 years. Kimberly Clarke is a driving force of our success and deserves recognition for her dedication, commitment, and many valuable contributions over the years.

Why Long-Term Relationships Matter

Having team members who stay with a company for 14, 25, or nearly 30 years is something we never take for granted. It creates a genuine sense of community within our hotels that guests can feel the moment they arrive.

When you book a stay with us, you are supported by staff who know their properties inside and out. They understand the needs of frequent work crews, know the local highway routes, and care about making sure you get a good night’s rest.

Next time you check into Coastal Inns in Moncton/Dieppe, Sackville, or Halifax, be sure to say hello to Randy, Gisele, Lisa, Brian, Roland, or Kimberly. We are deeply grateful for their hard work and commitment over the years.

Thank you to our staff across all five of our locations for making Coastal Inns a reliable home base throughout Atlantic Canada. To plan your next trip, book directly with us online or over the phone to guarantee the best available rates.
